Series of events in early 2021 for exchange of ideas
To give Hong Kong digital content producers more chances to exchange ideas with the talents from other countries and regions, HKDEA will organize a series of events in early 2021 under the sponsorship from CreateHK. The first one is the “Stop-motion Animation Master Class” to be held in January 2021. It will contain two parts, with the first an online talk followed by a physical workshop. Mr. Yuichi ITO, Tokyo’s master of stop-motion, is invited to be the guest speaker of the Master Class. Two local animation masters, namely Mr. CHEUNG Kwong Chun and Mr. MAK Siu Fung, will teach and demonstrate in the workshop with the instructions from Mr. ITO. All trainees of the Master Class will be required to finish their stop motion animation videos during the workshop for Mr. ITO’s comments. Furthermore, HKDEA will organise the “Asian Master Summit” and the Screening Session of the “22nd DigiCon6 ASIA Awards” in February 2021. The Screening Session will showcase all awarded works of the Hong Kong contest and selected ones from other regional contests, followed by an experience sharing session with all the Hong Kong contest winners and overseas experts. The Awards Presentation Ceremony of the Hong Kong contest will also be held in the same month. Highlights of various activities will be uploaded onto the project website in due course.
