1. CONCEPT, STORYLINE, SCRIPT AND PLANNING
Entries will receive a maximum 20 points, judged by the concept, storyline and script of the submitted work, as well as the Creator's or Creators' ability to demonstrate good planning skills.

2. TASTE & DESIGN
Entries will receive a maximum of 10 points, judges by the taste and artistic design of the submitted work's visual images, including camera work, layout and framing, etc.

3. QUALITY OF IMAGES AND TECHNICAL SKILL
Entries will receive a maximum of 10 points, judged by the following criteria, depending on the category of the work:
• LIVE ACTION: Technical skill of cinematography
• CG& ANIMATION: Modelling, animation, lighting and rendering skills
The technical image quality of the submitted work will also be taken into consideration.

4. USAGE OF MUSIC & SOUND EFFECTS
Entries will receive a maximum of 5 points, judged by the creativity and effectiveness in using music and sound effects in the submitted work, with additional 5 points to be awarded if the submitted work which contains original music specially created for it. This is to encourage the creation of original music for submitted work.

5. ORIGINALITY
Entries will receive a maximum of 20 points, judged by the originality of the submitted work.

5.1 ASIAN ORIGINALITY
Uniquely different from other Festivals and Awards, “DigiCon6 ASIA Awards” puts a strong emphasis on the concept of "Made In Asia." As such, we would like to see a signature Asian craftsmanship in the works submitted. Works displaying a strong "ASIAN ORIGINALITY" perspective will be awarded a maximum of 10 additional points.

6. CREATOR’S FUTURE POTENTIALITY
This criterion evaluates the future potential of the Creator(s) (Individual, Group, Company, etc.) of the submitted work. Creator(s) will be assessed according to the individual / group's potential to succeed in a real, competitive commercial environment. Entries will receive a maximum of 20 points.
